Counselling in Bamber Bridge & Online
For individuals feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted.
If you’ve been overthinking everything…
Struggling to switch off at night…
Feeling flat, unmotivated, or not quite yourself…
You’re not alone.
And you don’t have to figure it out on your own either.
A Calm, Confidential Space to Talk
The Wing Project offers professional counselling and psychotherapy in Bamber Bridge, South Ribble and online across the UK.
This is a space where you can:
- Talk openly without judgement
- Make sense of stress, anxiety or low mood
- Work through relationship or work-related challenges
- Break patterns of avoidance or overthinking
- Feel heard, properly heard
You don’t need the “right words.”
You just need a starting point.
Who I Work With
Many of the people I support are:
- Individuals who feel pressure to hold everything together
- Individuals feeling stuck in work or life
- People navigating change, redundancy or personal shifts
- Those experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma or burnout
- Anyone curious about therapy but unsure where to begin
If you’re thinking, “I just want to feel normal again” — that’s often where the work starts.
What Can Change Through Counselling?
Therapy isn’t about being fixed.
It’s about understanding what’s happening underneath.
Clients often begin to:
- Sleep better
- Reduce constant overthinking
- Feel more confident in conversations
- Set healthier boundaries
- Experience calmer reactions
- Feel more like themselves again
Change doesn’t happen overnight.
But it does happen through consistent, safe conversation.
Not Sure If Therapy Is For You?
That’s completely normal.
Starting can feel intimidating.
That’s why I offer a free 20-minute consultation, a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to see if we’re the right fit.
You can ask questions.
Understand how sessions work.
And decide at your own pace.
Free Men’s Talking Therapy Group – Bamber Bridge
On the first Tuesday of every month, The Wing Project hosts a free men’s talking therapy group at FLOAT Wellness Studio, Mounsey Road, Bamber Bridge.
Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits provided.
A safe space to talk.
A chance to experience what therapeutic conversation feels like.
No pressure to speak. No cost to attend.
For many men, this is their first step into talking therapy.
Grief doesn’t have a timeline. And you don’t have to carry it alone.
Grief can affect anyone.
It might be the loss of a parent, partner, child, friend or family member. It might be a loss that happened recently, or something that happened years ago that still catches you on the difficult days.
Sometimes you want to talk.
Sometimes you just want to listen.
Sometimes you simply need to be around people who understand.
Monthly Grief Support Meet Up in Bamber Bridge
a safe, welcoming and compassionate space for anyone experiencing grief or loss.
Open to all ages and all genders, the group will be facilitated by a qualified professional grief counsellor and will explore grief through the Tonkin Model of Grief — the idea that grief doesn’t necessarily get smaller; instead, over time, our lives can begin to grow around it.
There is no pressure to share your story. You can talk, listen, reflect or simply be present.
